總冠軍賽第3戰，帶著1勝的克里夫蘭騎士回到主場果然氣勢驚人，「小皇帝」LeBron James再度繳出「小三元」，96：91擊退金州勇士，系列賽2：1逆轉。

兩隊上半場命中率都不高，勇士低到只有34.1%，主將Stephen Curry小計6次出手只進1球，顯然還沒找到突破對手積極包夾的辦法，全隊半場只得37分，本季最低。

騎士第3節掌握禁區優勢，將進攻範圍擴大，控衛Matthew Dellavedova飆進2記三分球，James也投進1球，決勝節前領先多達17分。

第4節，勇士大膽啟用David Lee，收到豐碩效果，擅長居中策應的他幫助球隊拉出13：2攻勢，一記補灌追到5分差。

受到隊友感召，Curry終於使出絕技，後撤步外線跳投命中，5分40秒切入反手上籃，追到3分差，但James隨後快攻時演出「空接爆扣」美技，又將氣勢壓過對手。

2分46秒，Curry繞過防守球員後飆進三分球，但Dellavedova失去平?後丟進幸運打板中距離，James隨後補上大號三分彈，再度穩住領先，儘管Curry最後連飆2記高難度三分球也無濟於事。

James全場34投14中，繳出40分、12籃板、8助攻，Dellavedova貢獻20分。

上半場只得到3分的Curry，下半場終於回神，全場27分，可惜為時已晚。
