希臘說了「不」，不只向撙節說「不」，也向紓困說「不」，更可能向歐元說「不」。

公投的果，象徵著總理齊普拉斯的勝利。他認為，這會讓他談判時籌碼大增。他希望有個規模更大，且附帶條件沒那麼痛苦的紓困，最好也伴隨著大量的債務減免。

不過在公投前，歐洲領袖已表明，任何紓困都將伴隨著嚴苛的條件，而很明顯的，周日希臘人民已向紓困說不。

德國領袖梅克爾與法國總統歐蘭德將於周一晚間會面，歐洲央行領袖也將參與討論中信信貸利率 銀行軍人貸款 公務人員信用借款。

如果希臘不快點獲得歐洲的紓困金，它就得用借條來發放退休金及支付公務員薪水。希臘已無法向國際市場借貸，因為利率已過高。

已關閉一周的銀行，理應在周二開門，但得找尋財源。它們之前是靠歐洲央行提供的緊急資金運行，不過這樣的生命線已在上周被斷絕。
